Richland City Government

Mayor & Council

Elected for four-year terms, the mayor and city council govern the City of Richland. While the mayor presides over all of the meetings, they work together to make crucial decisions for the city's development and welfare.

The mayor is responsible for all offices and affairs of the city such as enforcing ordinances and regulations, administering oaths, signing commissions, bonds, contracts and other obligations in the name of the city. The mayor's leadership ensures the efficient operation of the city government and the enforcement of its regulations, fostering a vibrant and well-functioning community.
